Saho Creations initiated a housing project to support vulnerable elderly people in Skanthapuram, Kilinochchi. We launched the project by collecting donations through social media and inviting volunteers to join the effort. Over 30 youth and villagers participated in the initiative. With everyone’s support, we successfully built a comfortable house for an elderly couple. This is a remarkable achievement for us, showcasing the power of community and teamwork.
We organized a workshop on mushroom cultivation at the Ariyalai Sri Kalaimagal Community Center, with over 30 participants. As a result of the workshop, five participants have successfully started mushroom farming.
We conducted a digital content creation class at Artal Fine Arts, Adamban, Mannar, offering 100% scholarships. We identified and selected youth from vulnerable communities who were in need. Over 15 youths participated, and two have since started their own full-time businesses in digital content creation.
